January 2024

Dear John,

Happy New Year! As the year begins, it's a great time to look ahead and review our 2024 Calendar of Observances. In addition, this year we have a new classroom resource that provides teaching activities to help bring exploration and depth to your students alongside the Calendar of Observances. We have other new resources to share with you as well.

Monthly Featured BookA Day with No Words
This picture book for ages 5-8 is written from a boy’s first-person perspective and highlights the bond between mother and child, following them on a day where they use a tablet to communicate with others. This book normalizes communication outside of verbal speech and provides an affirming representation of neurodiversity and autism.
