John,

Disasters and crises can bring out the best in us.

The surge in solidarity we have witnessed over the past few weeks has been heartening. Communities have come together to offer support and critical resources to those who need it the most.

My team and I have been working on an extensive spreadsheet to compile resources for the Portland metro area. We will be updating it regularly. The list is broken down into many different categories:

* Food Access
* Shelters
* Utilities/Rent
* Resources for Businesses/Workers
* Childcare
* Resources for College Students
* State/City/County Resources
* Health/Wellness/Fitness
* Crisis Hotlines
* Volunteer/Donate
* Education
* Entertainment

You can access the resource list here. Please share with your networks.

Across the world, we are feeling the stress, strain, and uncertainty of this pandemic. If there was ever a time to go out of our way to be there for one another, this is it.

We will be stronger as a community and a nation if we take the time to acknowledge that we are all in this together and to seek out ways to support each other.

Courage,

Earl
