Listen, this is outrageous.

Mitch McConnell, who blocked Obama's federal and Supreme Court judicial nominees and helped Trump nominate one-fifth of the federal bench, wants to secure his conservative legacy by nominating more unqualified, anti-choice, ultra-conservative justices.

AND, he wants to do it while Americans are dealing with COVID-19.

He's been calling sitting judges on the federal circuit asking about their retirement plans and assuring them that, should they retire, he'll fill the vacancy with "a worthy successor," according to The New York Times.

It shows that even in a crisis, Mitch only cares about his conservative legacy -- not the American people. It also shows he's scared he'll lose the Senate majority and maybe his own Senate seat in November -- that's why he's desperate to fill these seats now.

Amy McGrath will be our champion to defeat Mitch this November. McGrath knows what it means to fight hard: she was the first woman to fly combat missions for the Marine Corps. Amy's victory would rid the Senate of its chief obstructionist and send a progressive woman to Capitol Hill. Amy will fight for affordable healthcare and against economic inequality by supporting more opportunities for working and middle-class Americans.

But it won't be easy. Mitch is one of the most powerful men in Congress, and he spent $30 million on his last race. We also can't forget all Mitch has delivered for the GOP: tax cuts for the rich and a conservative majority on the Supreme Court, just to name a few. Mitch already has $11 million on hand (the largest chunk comes from Wall Street) and is attacking Amy for supporting universal healthcare and a woman's right to choose.
