Dear friend,

Last month, a group of twelve graduate students at Johns Hopkins University protested a university-sponsored event that endorsed United States intervention, drone warfare, and torture programs in their communities abroad. These students are now facing disciplinary hearings that could result in their suspension--simply for exercising their right to free expression.

The Koch Network is behind a growing campaign to criminalize student protesters like those at Johns Hopkins University, which is why we're recruiting national support on behalf of these students. Will you sign our petition calling on Johns Hopkins University to respect studnets' rights to protest?

Koch’s anti-protest movement on campus seeks to protect hate speech while increasing punishment for students who stand up to harmful rhetoric. This serves Koch’s agenda to strip power from those most harmed by White Supremacy and increase the privatization of institutions intended for the common good.

Students will face a disciplinary hearing next month. Help us show Johns Hopkins University that supporters from across the country stand in solidarity with these students and their right to free expression.

In solidarity,

Sam

UnKoch My Campus is a cooperative campaign dedicated to disrupting corporate influence on campuses nationwide by equipping campus activists with education, skills, and ecosystems of solidarity. The Koch network is leveraging its donations to colleges and universities to bolster its corporate agenda to halt action on climate change, put hundreds of thousands of people in prison, deny millions of people healthcare, and strip rights and wages from workers globally. We're building a mass movement of young people who are dedicated to disrupting this harm.
