We’ve just learned new information about some disturbing union-busting tactics being used by Trader Joe’s:
The first Trader Joe’s location that voted to unionize is now being hit with a decertification campaign — that could invalidate their successful union vote from 2022.
Here’s the thing. Trader Joe’s has a history of using unlawful union-busting tactics. Many employees and community members are suspicious that Trader Joe’s corporate has enlisted the help of a union-busting consulting firm — which would be against the law.
In fact, the same week as the decertification campaign was launched, Trader Joe’s leadership was working with Kulture Consulting, an infamous right-wing, anti-union consulting and media company. That seems suspicious.
This decertification campaign is a worrying threat to the Trader Joe’s union and to all workers’ rights to organize. Join us and send a message to Trader Joe’s leadership to demand they prove they’re not breaking the law.
If Trader Joe’s is truly innocent, all they have to do is prove that they haven’t enlisted a union-busting consulting firm to strip workers of their rights. If they have nothing to hide, why won’t they prove it?
