Today marks the beginning of the Georgia General Assembly’s legislative session.

We’re barred from fundraising until the session ends. More importantly, it’s time to get down to business on behalf of Georgia consumers and families.

Last year, one of my main goals was closing a loophole in Georgia law that allowed auto insurance providers to exploit consumers and raise rates without oversight.

We delivered on that goal and got the loophole closed.

This year, one of my big focuses is on lawsuit reform, particularly when it comes to Georgia’s trucking industry. We need to level the playing field in the courtroom, otherwise our state is at risk of falling behind.

Since Governor Kemp appointed me to this position in 2019, my focus has been on one thing: putting consumers and families first.

My focus hasn’t changed, and I’m grateful the voters trusted me with a full term in office in 2022.

Thank you for your strong support throughout the journey. We plan to continue delivering during this year’s session.

Along the way, I’ll send out email updates about our progress and what’s on the horizon.

You can also sign up to receive text updates directly from me here.

Thank you for your continued support!
