Additional records related to Jeffrey Epstein have been disclosed, revealing the notorious figure and liberal philanthropist in the company of young girls at his estate on the Virgin Islands, as reported by Fox News.
Photographs dating back to 2006 depict Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell surrounded by girls, engaging playfully on a couch in pajamas, and posing for the camera in revealing attire. Another image captures Epstein embracing his masseuse Sarah Kellen outside his private jet, while a fourth shows alleged accomplice Nadia Marcinkova in a pilot uniform, seated at the controls of the jet
Within this batch of documents are email exchanges from around 2016 between Epstein victim Sarah Ransome and Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan. In these messages, Ransome claims to have received footage of her friend engaging in sexual activities with President Bill Clinton and billionaire Virgin Airlines founder Richard Branson. However, she insists the footage cannot be shared without her friend's consent, ultimately distancing herself from Callahan. Prior to retracting her allegations, Ransome had also mentioned former President Donald Trump.
"I want to walk away from this," Ransome wrote. "I shouldn't have contacted you, and I'm sorry I wasted your time. It's not worth coming forward, and I will never be heard anyhow, and only bad things will happen as a consequence of me going public."
Ransome, a central figure in the latest revelations, is part of a civil case brought by fellow Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre against Maxwell. The latter is currently serving a 20-year sentence for aiding and abetting Epstein in the abuse of numerous young girls over three decades. Giuffre's lawyers argue that the documents conclusively expose Maxwell's deposition as riddled with falsehoods.
Following the settlement of the case in 2017, Maxwell's attorneys sought to compel Giuffre to return confidential documents obtained during discovery, some of which are now publicly accessible due to continued publicity around the case.
According to Giuffre, the recent documents shed light on how Maxwell, Marcinkova, and other associates used the term "massage" as a euphemism for sexual relations with Epstein and his influential acquaintances.
"That's like a key word for sex," Ransome stated during her deposition transcript. "So as soon as you stop having sex with Jeffrey and his friends and his girls, you're out, because otherwise there's no reason for you to be associated with Jeffrey, because you're just there to have sex with him..."
Last year, U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ordered the unsealing of numerous associates of Epstein, allowing individuals two weeks to request redaction of their names. Giuffre's attorneys unsealed 191 documents last week and an additional 17 this Monday out of an estimated 240 total. While the inclusion of names does not imply wrongdoing, it has generated complications for figures like President Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, former President Donald Trump, and celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Chris Tucker, and attorney Alan Dershowitz. Denials abound, and the disclosures by Giuffre and her legal team are anticipated to persist.
