Friend —
I’m running for Congress because all too often, the voices of working people — most of us — aren’t heard in the halls of power.
So, today, I’m asking you one question: What issue do you care about most right now?
Please take a minute to share your priority issues. Write as little or as much as you like, and our team will do our best to review every response.

I read about some members of Congress who go months without a single public event. To me, that defeats the purpose of public service!
As State Senator, I represent my neighbors. People come up with questions and concerns on the sidewalk, the coffee shop, and the grocery store. In my first term alone, I spoke with thousands of Washingtonians at events and community meetings.
My wife, Alison, jokes that since I was elected, it takes twice as long to do errands. But I believe that you can’t represent people if you don’t listen to them.
Most of us, regardless of age, background, or ideology, want leaders who are responsive, accessible, and honest — that’s how I run my office as a State Senator and that’s how I will run my office as your member of Congress.
But as hard as I try, I can’t speak to every single WA-06 voter in-person. That’s where the online surveys come in. Can you take a minute and let me know what issues you care about most right now? Share your thoughts →
