Dear Friends,

As students, teachers, and parents across America shift to remote learning during the COVID-19 crisis, all of us at the National Constitution Center are working hard to support the needs of learners of all ages to educate themselves about the U.S. Constitution.

Starting on Monday, March 23, we are launching a free eight-week series of daily live interactive courses on the Constitution for middle school, high school, and college students. I will teach the courses, along with my NCC colleagues Kerry Sautner, our dynamic chief learning officer, and Tom Donnelly and Nicholas Mosvick, senior fellows in constitutional studies.

These daily interactive sessions allow students who are learning at home to sign up for remote learning via Zoom to participate in daily lectures and lively conversations about the basic principles of the U.S. Constitution. Using the acclaimed nonpartisan Interactive Constitution as a learning platform, the National Constitution Center will offer these free classes to learners of all ages and will enlist thought leaders, historians, and judges from all perspectives to offer special lectures on the Constitution during the months ahead.

We kick off introductory sessions Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20. On Monday, March 23, we begin the full eight-week series of live classes. The full schedule is available here.

The 1 p.m. courses on Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays will be available for anyone to watch at constitutioncenter.org/live.

At the same time, please join us for an expanded lineup of live programs for adult learners of all ages about the Constitution over the coming weeks, where I will interview historians and thought leaders on the history and principles of the U.S. Constitution, as well as constitutional issues in the news. We plan to share updates on our live page, so check back to join us for programs you can access from any computer or mobile device.

Thank you for joining the National Constitution Center during these challenging times to continue to educate yourselves and your children about the greatest vision of human freedom in history, the U.S. Constitution.

With appreciation,

Jeff
