Friend,

I know that in the closing hours before a reporting deadline like today you are likely getting inundated with campaign solicitations. I am really sorry for that, but it is an unfortunate reality of political life these days. With over 20 presidential candidates and control of the Senate and House at stake there are so many great candidates competing for your hard earned dollar. But given that the stakes are so high it is really a good thing that we have so many great folks offering themselves up to lead. So please, as you get all of our e-mails, look at it this way: with each donation you are not just making a campaign contribution, you are making an investment - an investment for change; an investment for a brighter future.

As tonight’s deadline approaches and you absorb the news of the day, let these words of Robert F. Kennedy be your guide:
“All of us might wish at times that we lived in a more tranquil world, but we don't. And if our times are difficult and perplexing, so are they challenging and filled with opportunity.”

We know the challenges, especially for me in a tough state like Alabama. But let’s recognize the opportunities just as we did in my special election in 2017. We can meet the challenges but only if we do it together once again.

Please consider an end of quarter donation in whatever amount you are comfortable with before the midnight deadline tonight. Help me show how strong this campaign is and how you are willing to stand with me for a better future. [[link removed]]

Thank you!
Doug
