Friend,

The first public face-off for the California U.S. Senate has been
announced!

On Monday, January 22, at 6PM PT, Reps. Adam Schiff, Katie Porter, and
Barbara Lee, and former baseball player Steve Garvey will participate in a
debate sponsored by Courage California Institute and other partners! And
there are two ways YOU can participate!

1. If you're in the Los Angeles area, we have a few tickets for Courage
members to attend in person on the USC campus! Reply to this email to
claim one of these seats.

2. Watch the debate on FOX 11 and [ [link removed] ]join us on our Facebook page to
discuss the debate with your fellow Courage members in real time!

The first forum that we cohosted with NUHW was so informative -- we
learned the Democratic candidates' takes on Medicare for All, corporate
profits and inflation, and the minimum wage.

Now we get to hear from the top four candidates right before voters get
their ballots in the mail.

Polls show that Republican Garvey is gaining momentum, and the stakes are
incredibly high.

We definitely want to hear from you on January 22, so be sure to [ [link removed] ]join
our Facebook page to be part of the conversation! And reply to this email
right away if you want to attend in person -- tickets will be first come,
first served.

The debate is hosted by Politico and is also sponsored by California
Environmental Voters Education Fund, East Bay Community Legal Center, and
Natural Resources Defense Council.

We look forward to seeing you!

–Angela, along with Irene, Annie, Isidra, Mario, Marvin, Alyssa Jen, and
Lindsay (and the rest of the Courage team)
