What Is BAHIP? 💖

BAHIP is a one-year, paid internship designed to learn the basics of affordable housing real estate development through one of our host agencies, leading nonprofit affordable housing developers (that’s you!). The goal of BAHIP is to recruit diverse young talent into the affordable housing development industry, students from Bay Area colleges and universities who have a passion for serving their diverse communities through increasing affordable housing opportunities.

💡 Why Serve as a BAHIP Host Agency? If you’re committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion at your organization, our BAHIP is the perfect opportunity! As a host agency, you will support the crucial mission of racial equity and inclusion while benefiting from the unique insights and contributions of our BAHIP interns.

If you have already hosted an intern before, please use this form instead.

By advancing leaders of color in our movement, we take concrete action toward racial equity and inclusion within our industry. Thank you for considering becoming part of the BAHIP community.

Onward,
