Despite being twice impeached and facing indictments for his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results, the shameful Donald Trump remains undeterred in his bid for the 2024 presidency. His continued eligibility for the ballot underscores a critical need for accountability in our political system. A president who attempted to overthrow an election that he lost will not stop at the judicial effort to hold him accountable. We, the voters, must also hold him accountable.
We cannot allow an individual with such a record of violence, election tampering, disregard for the democratic process, and insurrection incitement to return to the Oval Office — casting a vote for Trump is voting against the very survival of our democracy.
