As we enter the new year, I'd like to take a moment to thank you for your support and generosity throughout 2023. The past year has shown how the ripple effect starts with you and creates positive change across communities in rural Africa.

 

**Here are some of the amazing things made possible in 2023 thanks to your support. We couldn't have done it without you!**


1.3 million people took charge of their own lives and built a brighter future.

2.8 million trees were planted across our projects, helping fight the climate crisis.

2,470 peer farmers shared their skills and knowledge with their communities.

With a new year ahead of us, there are so many exciting things to look forward to. Here are just a few ways your support will be turned into action in 2024 and beyond. 

**New project in West Pokot**

This year we have launched a new project in West Pokot, Kenya, working with vulnerable families, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), who have migrated to the area due to the effects of the climate crisis.

**Opportunities for youth**

With agriculture one of the biggest employers in east Africa, we will continue to [support young people]([link removed]) throughout 2024 to make their mark in agriculture, using new skills to grow brighter futures.
