John: The House has advanced legislation that would:

Protect and expand access to affordable health care
Raise the minimum wage for the first time in 10 years
Reduce the influence of dark money in politics
Address the deadly gun violence epidemic
Combat the effects of climate change
Secure anti-discrimination protections for the LGBTQ community

But here's the bad news: Mitch McConnell has refused to take up any of these bills in the Senate. He's even bragged about bringing the Senate to a legislative standstill.

I'm sick and tired of leaders who won't show up to work for Tennesseans. I'm running for the Senate to make Washington work for Tennessee again. To do that, I need to know which issues matter the most to you and your family, so I know what to fight for on our path to flipping the Senate.
