National Debt
The US hit a record $34 trillion national debt for the first time in its history on Dec. 29, 2023. According to the World Bank, the U.S. debt of $34 trillion is more than the combined GDP of the top five global economies after the U.S. — China ($17.9 trillion), Japan ($4.2 trillion), Germany ($4.0 trillion), India ($3.4 trillion) and the United Kingdom ($3.0 trillion).
The U.S. is now spending nearly $2 billion per day on interest payments alone. It is very disconcerting to see our government take on such debt. The US House must reign in this deficit spending while we still have time.
Federal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Programs
Here is my comment I posted on Elon Musk’s post on X -

Mao divided Chinese into Oppressor vs Oppressed by using "Class", 5 black classes vs. 5 red classes, install hate, they fought each other like enemies, 20M died during the Cultural Revolution. US House should use the power of the purse to defund DEI. I would sponsor or co-sponsor such a bill if I get elected in congress.

Volunteers New Year Party
I have the best volunteers with diverse backgrounds and skill sets. John and I hosted a party at home to thank our team members for their commitment and dedication to help my campaign. Lots of food, drinks, fun, laughs and conversation. I did some stir-fry Chinese food in my outdoor "kitchen". I enjoy cooking and feeding my volunteers.
