John,
2024 came in hot. Or cold, depending on where you live. Whatever the temp, it was an uncomfortable transition back to real life.
And life is life-ing. We called for a march to kick off our work in 2024, and 2024 is already showing us what it has up its sleeves.
The Fifth Circuit Court (you may remember this court as the one who brought you the Dobbs decision and SB8) decided this week that Texas emergency rooms have no obligation to provide life saving abortions in the case of medical emergencies.
Simultaneously, the Supreme Court announced it will hear a similar case that would impact Idaho, as well as hearing Trump’s insurrection case.

In fact, all these cases are about different facets of the same topic: the ongoing attack on democracy from the bench.
Whether it’s leading thousands of people in insurrection, or denying people lifesaving emergency medical care, these unelected judges have no right to legislate from the bench. The only thing that will stop them is people power.
That’s where you come in. On January 20, we are marching to kick off our 2024 fight for freedom, families, and the future. Will you be there?
See you in the streets!
