Josh Hawley’s entire support base started crumbling after his actions on

FIRST — Three years ago today, Josh Hawley pumped his fist in support of
rioters outside the U.S. Capitol. Then, just hours later, he skittered out
the back door when those same rioters stormed the building.

Hawley proved to everyone that day that he’s nothing but a fraud and a
coward.

THEN — A handful of Hawley’s former mentors and mega-donors announced
they’re refusing to support his 2024 re-election campaign. Missouri’s
three-term GOP U.S. Senator Jack Danforth even said mentoring Hawley was
“the worst decision I’ve ever made in my life.”

NOW — Hawley is deeply unpopular with Missouri voters. The latest
reporting from Morning Consult found that Josh Hawley has the lowest
approval rating of any GOP U.S. Senator running for re-election this year.
