Three years ago today, our democracy was pushed to the absolute brink as a violent mob of insurrectionists tried to overturn the government in the name of Donald Trump.

Three years later, we face the same existential threat.

Donald is all-but guaranteed to be the Republican nominee, and the overwhelming majority of the GOP still refuses to acknowledge the threat he poses or to publicly disown him.

They are all cowards, John — every single one of them that has failed to stand up to Donald and his dangerous war on our democracy.

That’s why I started Democracy Defense Fund in the first place back in 2022: To defeat MAGA extremism and its de facto leader at every turn.

Although we’ve had some recent victories, 2024 is going to be our biggest challenge to date, so I’m grateful to have you as an ally in the fight to save our democracy from those that would seek to divide us.
