I've spent decades helping Democrats win tough races all across our country alongside folks like my friend James Carville. Today, I'm reaching out on behalf of the Democratic Governors Association to ask for your feedback on their newest survey. Will you let me explain why? 

You see, I've learned a lot of lessons about politics over the years, but this is by far the most important one: Campaigns can only win if grassroots supporters like you are on their side. From day one all the way through Election Day, your support is the most important resource campaigns have, and we need you now more than ever.

Your passion inspires our candidates, your activism builds awareness, your donations fuel our campaigns, and your votes power our candidates to victory. So, as we head into this critical election year (a year with ELEVEN governors' races on the ballot!), your insights and input are incredibly important. That's why I'm personally inviting you to participate in the DGA's brand new 2024 Democratic Strategy Survey. This survey will close at midnight tonight, so will you please take a moment to share your responses now?

The DGA has proved time and time again that Democrats can win anywhere – North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas, Arizona, even Kentucky. The list goes on and on. This team has built a powerful blue firewall of Democratic governors all across our country that serves as a brick wall against attacks on abortion, efforts to undermine our democracy, and the worst of the GOP's agenda.

But these victories and this blue firewall didn't appear overnight. They took years of organizing and hard work, all of which was powered by your grassroots support.

And now, we're heading toward another pivotal election. There will be 11 governors' races on the ballot, including in key battleground states like New Hampshire and North Carolina. The DGA knows that winning on Election Day starts right now, by collaborating with highly engaged, reliable grassroots Democrats to build a winning strategy.

And, as it turns out, you're one of the top Democrats in xxxxxx! That's why the DGA has specifically asked me to invite you to participate in their new year strategy survey before midnight tonight. Please, will you join now? I know what it will take for Democrats to win next November – and it starts with grassroots people like you coming together to fight for our blue firewall.
