John,
The Supreme Court is finally feeling the heat.
After ProPublica's exposé on billionaires buying access and Justices failing to report gifts, corruption at the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) can no longer be swept under the rug or hidden in the shadows.
Add the revelations of Justice Clarence Thomas' close ties to the Trump coup plot -- from his wife Ginni Thomas to his former law clerk John Eastman -- not only should Justice Thomas not be ruling on any case related to Trump and his attempts to overturn the 2020 election, it’s never been more clear how desperately ethics at the Court must be reformed.
Of course, that’s why SCOTUS recently released their own set of ethics rules. They’re trying to keep the Senate from taking action, claiming they’ve got this handled on their own. Sure they do… that’s why their new rules are non-binding and toothless!
Listen, it is still a small victory, but most importantly, this crack in their armor shows they are feeling the pressure and are scared the Senate will hold them accountable.
That's why at DFA, we’re trying what we call the Kitchen Sink Strategy. We're coming at SCOTUS from every possible angle and demanding the Senate take action. From sweeping SCOTUS ethics reform to calling on Congress to impeach Justice Thomas, from calling on Justice Thomas to recuse from Trump trials to demanding SCOTUS dismiss Moore v. US, and more, we’re building a tsunami of public pressure demanding reform.
Now we need your support to fund this fight. Make a donation to fuel our unyielding fight to reform the U.S. Supreme Court now!

The stakes are astronomical. We cannot stand by and watch a Supreme Court Justice like Clarence Thomas do Trump’s bidding while occupying a seat in one of our nation's most influential institutions.
His refusal to recuse himself from Trump-related election cases starkly reveals his conflict of interest. Yet, without a nationwide uproar, our fight for recusal or impeachment remains a distant dream.
But Justice Thomas is not the only problem. Justice Samuel Alito also took gifts from a conservative billionaire and then didn’t recuse himself from relevant cases. Justice Neil Gorsuch sold property to a law firm with pending cases at the Court. Justice Amy Coney Barrett did not step away from a case involving groups who backed her during her SCOTUS confirmation. Justice Brett Kavanaugh started his role with 83 ethics complaints and serious allegations against him.
Even Chief Justice John Roberts has drawn attention due to ties with his wife’s firms that have cases in front of the Court.
Politico reports that “Senate Judiciary Chair Dick Durbin is done waiting patiently for the Supreme Court to change its ethics standards.”
But let’s be clear, only a persistent grassroots movement demanding action and accountability can stop this unchecked influence that is undermining the very essence of judicial impartiality and fairness.
Enforce ethical accountability in the judiciary, and mobilize a nationwide movement to demand the Senate reform the Supreme Court by rushing a donation right now >>
Your voice is critical in this fight. Together, we CAN and WILL forge change. Every one of us must play a part. Your support, your voice, and your unwavering demand for justice are the fuel for this fight.
