Dear Texans,

I hope each of you enjoyed a restful holiday season surrounded by loved ones. While at home in TX-25, my work on important issues facing our state, our nation, and the world did not stop. Rest assured, I am fighting each day to keep our communities safe and uphold the values of our district. From the Democrat-created crisis at our southern border to out-of-control inflation, I am committed to putting America first. It’s past time we secure our nation, restore law and order, and return taxpayer dollars to hardworking families on Main Street. As we kick off the new year, read below for an update on my work serving you.

Biden Allows the Continued Invasion on American Soil

It’s no secret that Biden has created an out of control crisis at our southern border. His refusal to take accountability for his failures is actively weakening our national security, making our communities less safe, and allowing cartels to thrive. Under Biden, millions of fighting-age men, human traffickers, gang members, and even terrorists have invaded the U.S. Each day House Republicans are fighting to secure our nation and safeguard American lives. My Border Security and Terrorism Prevention Act gives the DHS a ‘no excuses’ chance to reset their failed policies by halting immigration functions at our southern border until Secretary Mayorkas can ensure that zero terrorists can enter the United States. H.R. 2, passed by House Republicans, restarts construction of the border wall, deploys technology to our borders, increases the number of Border Patrol agents, and ends deadly catch and release. It's past time for Biden and the radical Democrats to wake up and pass this crucial legislation to restore national security.
