Friend, three years ago was one of the darkest days in American history.

In an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 Presidential election, Donald Trump used our nation’s highest office not to unite our country, but to tear it in two.

Galvanizing white supremacists and radical fringe groups, our former president incited the first breach in the United States Capitol since 1814.

But thanks to the Colorado Supreme Court, who found Trump did violate the insurrection clause of the 14th amendment (and is therefore ineligible to be on the state’s ballot this year), we have a precedent to keep him off the 2024 ballot for good.

Friend, The Colorado case is not a slam dunk for us. The Supreme Court will hear this case in February – where the fight for accountability will be an uphill battle.

But as we head into this new Presidential election year, I know we will keep fighting like hell to protect our country from bad actors who seek to destroy our democracy and divide our nation.
