Dear Republican, As we approach the final day of filing week here in Utah, we find ourselves at a crucial crossroads in shaping the future of our great state. Thank you to all of the amazing Utah Republicans who are running for office as an incumbent or first time candidate; we appreciate you! With only one more day left to file for public office, Monday, January 8th, we need principled individuals like you to step up and make a difference in races where there is not currently a Republican filed to run. Currently, there are positions in Salt Lake and Summit Counties where Democrats are running unopposed (please look at your county level positions and work with your county party leadership to fill any vacancies where a Democrat is unopposed) — we cannot afford to let any office go uncontested. Every race is an opportunity to advance our conservative values, promote our Party platform, and contribute to the well-being of our communities. These positions currently include: House District 21 (Salt Lake County) House District 22 (Salt Lake County) House District 23 (Salt Lake & Summit Counties) House District 24 (Salt Lake County) House District 37 (Salt Lake County) House District 40 (Salt Lake County) State School Board District 6 (Salt Lake & Summit Counties) We are reaching out to you today because we believe in the power of the Utah Republican Party members and the impact that dedicated individuals can have on our political landscape.
