Three years ago today — January 6th, 2021 — we watched an insurrectionist mob ransack the Capitol, violently clash with sworn officers upholding the rule of law, and attempt to overturn an election.

That day was decades in the makings, fomented by people who have a very different vision of America’s future.

But as history reminds us, each of us will be judged... and ultimately judge ourselves, to the extent we contribute, as Bobby Kennedy said, to the life of our cities, our state, our nation, and the world we are trying to build.

Today, I want to ask you to do something important, a small act that will make a big difference in defending our democracy from future attacks.

There may be no more important race and state in the 2024 election. So I am asking:

$3 for Tammy Baldwin because we do not hold the Senate and the White House unless we win in Wisconsin.

$3 because Republicans are going to spend obscene amounts of money to win this race and flip the state.

$3 because Tammy Baldwin's campaign is funded primarily from lots and lots of people making small donations.

I know it seems like $3 won't make a huge difference in an expensive race, but by the time you read this lots and lots of people have chipped-in their $3.

Now they're hoping you'll do the same. For Tammy. For our democracy.
