Three years ago, a violent mob attacked the United States capitol in a coordinated attempt to overthrow our democracy and invalidate a free and fair election. The attack was egged on by then-president Donald Trump – but he wasn’t alone.
As the mob began to make its way towards the Halls of Congress, Lauren Boebert tweeted that “today is 1776” – a reference that could only mean she was encouraging armed and violent rebellion against the government.
Trump was impeached and did leave office. But Lauren Boebert never paid the price for her role in an event that killed Capitol Police officers, injured scores of people, and damaged the Capitol building. The building she still “works” in!
Lauren Boebert is an extremist of the worst kind. She wants nothing more than to remain in power, and she was happy to encourage violence to keep her and her friends in power if that’s what it took.
I am running for Congress to protect our freedoms and ensure that the longest-standing Republic in the world is not toppled by celebrity wannabe nut jobs like Lauren Boebert. I hope you will join me.
