I’m running for the U.S. Senate not just to be a policy leader and to
fight for Californians, but to be an effective political leader for our
party. [ [link removed] ]Can you chip in today to power our movement?

When I ask
what the role of a blue state Senator is, I usually get crickets.

But I believe the job of a blue state Senator is to hone a winning message
that will help us build a durable majority all across the country.

I flipped a Republican-held seat blue in 2018, and I haven’t held this
seat by running to the center or switching my position based on whatever I
think will help me get elected next. I’m a proud progressive who has won
because voters know that while we may not agree on every issue, I’m
fighting for them, not a handful of corporate donors.

We need new political leadership. Leadership that understands how to win
in purple areas. Leadership that isn’t beholden to decades of corporate
PAC cash.

Grassroots supporters make this new type of leadership possible. [ [link removed] ]Can
you chip in $5 today to help me win this competitive primary and help
Democrats win for decades to come?
