Here’s a list of a few of the Arizona Republicans that participated in the Big Lie and are actively working to corrupt our democracy:

State Senator Anthony Kern was pictured on the steps of the Capitol building as rioters began to climb the scaffolding to breach the doors and windows of the building. Anthony allegedly used campaign funds to get there.

AZ-8 House candidate Jacob Chansley better known as the Q-Anon Shaman infiltrated the building and desecrated the Speaker’s desk while shirtless adorned with face paint and a fur hat.

State Senator Janae Shamp and her husband were caught on video in the crowd on the Lower Terrace of the Capitol with the crowd that would eventually turn violent and attack the Capitol building. In the days and weeks after the insurrection, Janae continued to share and regurgitate conspiracy theories on social media.

Senate candidate Kari Lake continues to be Donald Trump’s biggest MAGA mouthpiece and has been touting the Big Lie since Republicans stormed the Capitol. She’s even taken a page out of Trump’s playbook, and STILL won’t admit that she lost to Governor Hobbs last year.

Senate candidate Mark Finchem attended the insurrection as a state legislator, even tweeting a (now-deleted) picture with the hashtag #stopthesteal. In the days following the insurrection, he continued to spout baseless theories blaming antifa for the violence, and signed on to a letter with other Arizona Republicans asking Congress to reject the votes of Arizonans.

AZ-08 candidate Blake Masters stood by Donald Trump’s Big Lie throughout his losing campaign against Senator Kelly last year. Only after he came under fire did he scrub language about a “stolen election” from his campaign’s website.

The entire GOP is complicit in this attack on our democracy, full stop. And in the two years since, they’ve only further supported and uplifted the biggest mouthpieces for the Big Lie.
