Folks —
Three years ago today, on January 6th, 2021, violent insurrectionists stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of a free and fair election. This was one of the darkest days in our Nation’s history and a direct result of baseless conspiracy theories spread by former President Donald Trump.
Since then, national Republicans have continued to undermine our elections — from unprecedented voter suppression measures to election officials across the Nation embracing Trump’s Big Lie.
And the threat we still face here in Pennsylvania is very real. Bob’s opponent, David McCormick, has been endorsed by a number of these election deniers and insurrectionists. He even had Trump’s fake electors on his campaign payroll, and one is running his PAC.
If David McCormick succeeds in flipping this seat, Democrats will lose the Senate, handing control over to Mitch McConnell and far-right Republicans who will work to undermine our elections and our democratic principles.
