A BIG victory for Minnesota Ag:
Last month, Congress passed – with my enthusiastic “YES” vote – the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act.
We can make Congress work for US as long as we stand together, so please chip in to drive my campaign forward for success this election year.
This bill will allow whole milk to be served in school cafeterias for the first time since 2012 when whole milk was eliminated as an option due to an initiative spearheaded by former First Lady Michelle Obama.
As a father of seven, I know firsthand how important it is for kids to get the critical vitamins and nutrients from whole milk. It’s just common sense for it to be available in schools.
It’s also important for Congress to reflect the priorities of Minnesota’s agriculture community, NOT coastal elites or DC bureaucrats.
And I do everything I can to deliver that, no matter what’s going on.
