The year ahead is already looking extraordinarily busy, so this is a special request for prayer for the work of the Institute across the UK and Ireland.

In this video, my colleague Dave Greatorex and I briefly examine some of the most pressing issues facing us in 2024.

** Please pray:

* For our work challenging all the proposals for new laws on ‘conversion therapy’. Two Private Member’s Bills have been introduced at Westminster, a Bill is expected in Ireland imminently, and the Scottish Government starts consulting on its own law next week.
* That attempts to completely decriminalise abortion in England and Wales will fail;
* That assisted suicide will not be introduced anywhere in these islands;
* For a good response – especially from Christian parents, teachers and governors – to the various consultations on sex education and transgender ideology taking place this year;
* For our political representatives, that they would act with wisdom and integrity;
* For all the staff of the Institute at this very busy time.

There are so many important issues coming up. We will contact you about some of them in the coming weeks and let you know the best way to take action. Please do respond. Truth, gospel freedom, and the sanctity of life are at stake.
