John—It’s officially election year, and this November will be the most important election of our lives.

Americans will decide whether we will continue to be a democracy, and our race to flip NY-17 blue will be among the closest races in the country. Retaking our House majority, and defeating MAGA extremism, hinges on winning this race.

With the stakes as high as they are, and a race as close as ours, there is no room for error. The race is on, and we must start 2024 by hitting the ground running. Chip in $5 or whatever you can to help me flip NY-17 and retake our Democratic majority.

John, if Democrats don’t win back the House this year, it will be devastating for our nation, our fundamental freedoms, and our democracy. The MAGA Republicans are hellbent on stripping away our rights, including access to abortion, marriage equality, voting rights, and more. The only way to stop them is by removing them from power.

But they won’t go without a fight. National Republicans, with the help of extremist Speaker Mike Johnson and far-right corporate PACs, will spend whatever it takes to keep Mike Lawler in power and hold on to their slim majority. I’m counting on this grassroots team to help me fight back.
