Caucus Room Initial Questions
For those of you wanting to form groups, which I hope is a lot of you, the following questions have come up on Day 1:
Once you form a group as host, you must go to your group page and press the “activate” button. That will take you to the payment page to enter your credit card information. You can choose one of two group types, depending on size and level of service.
The Groups must be formed on the website- www.caucusroom.com, where you can log in. The App hasn’t been updated in many months and is not functional. Do not try to do anything on the App. It will only be confusing. If there is enough interest in forming groups, updating the App will be on the early agenda of things to do.
Remember you can:
Form a group together with your Republican County Chair.Form a group with your conservative neighbors to support a candidate or ballot initiative you are interested.Form a group with your neighbors to be the hands and feet of a state-wide or national group you are a part of or want to support.Form a group to discuss strategies for change, or prioritizing where to focus.Form a group to publicize activities and events.Form a group where issues can be debated in real time, virtually.Invite friends to join Caucus Room. The more the merrier. The list just keeps going.
Thank you to those who have already provided feedback.
There are some who are disappointed that the news feed is no longer active. There are many good sites for you to get that information. Caucus Room is about local action more than information. Members in your neighborhood can still send posts.
There are also those who have expressed concern about having to pay. Please refer back to my “The only problem with a Free Lunch is it isn’t Free” explanation.
Happy New Year!
