I am honored and excited to have received the endorsement of glendaleOUT for my congressional campaign. glendaleOUT is a grass-roots organization dedicated to building, evolving, and moving forward queer voices in the narrative that is Glendale.
I’ve witnessed firsthand glendaleOUT’s important work and I have personally benefited from the many positive events it has organized and hosted.
The fight for justice and equality continues today more than ever. Having the endorsement of an advocacy group on the frontline of these efforts means a lot to me.
For me, LGBTQ+ rights aren’t just a box to be checked. Like many Californians, I know what it’s like to have someone in my family who was targeted by hate just for being gay. My brother, Michale was a tireless advocate who fought for the respect and dignity of all Californians. In his memory, I send my deep appreciation to glendaleOUT for this honor.
