Allow me to briefly explain why:
Our campaign will be on the ballot in just over two months. That means I will be relying on outreach, through emails like this one, to make sure everyone in our district can see what I’m doing in Washington, and why this re-election fight will be so important for protecting LGBTQ+ rights, seniors’ retirement benefits, reproductive freedom, and so much more.
Unfortunately, multiple service providers, including Gmail and Yahoo, are changing their email delivery rules, and the less engagement we receive i.e. clicks, the more likely it is that our emails will end up in spam.
Believe me, if not for Citizens United and the unfettered dark money we’re going up against, I’d love to send these emails a lot less. But the reality is that we’re going to get attacked. A lot. Being able to reliably count on our grassroots donors receiving our emails is one of our best firewalls against these attacks.
We know that Mike Johnson, the most anti-LGBTQ+ Speaker in history, has pledged to make me one of his top 10 targets this year. And that means my ability to stay connected with each of you, to give you the real eyes on the ground and around our district, is so important.
Please use this link to boost our engagement score. It may not seem like much, but each click will go a long way.
