Happy New Year! We don’t have to settle, y’all. This is a clarion call for a New Louisiana.

What I’m up to right now

🥳  I recently qualified for — and won without opposition — my DSCC seat for 35B. Congrats to all the others around the state who qualified to participate… Welcome to the Arena!

The Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC) is the state governing body for the Louisiana Democratic Party. There are two seats, male B and female A, for every legislative house district. Those DSCC members vote for a new party chair this Spring.

Let’s rebuild this party. This is a new chapter in bringing forth a new Louisiana!

Blue Reboot

During this most recent run for State Treasurer, I saw all too well how dire the state of our Louisiana Democratic Party is. We desperately need new leadership.

I, along with 100+ others who are also running for DSCC, am part of Blue Reboot— a group of Louisiana Democrats who are committed to reforming and rebuilding our party. Many of them are in contested races and need to win their elections so we can elect a new chair and reboot our party. This effort is such an important one, and I hope you'll join us in favor of some much needed change.
