My liberal opponent Amy McGrath’s decision to blanket the airwaves with deceitful ads during the coronavirus outbreak is tasteless and shameful.

I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person campaign events and fundraisers to slow the spread of the virus.
 
And I’ve suspended our voter contact program to focus our efforts on delivering meals to seniors and at-risk Kentuckians who need assistance.
 
But these difficult decisions will put our campaign in a serious financial hole. And emails like this are the ONLY WAY we can cover our budget shortfall.
