Hi team – and nice to meet you!
I’m Mark Guethle, Kane County Democratic Party Chair and, as of this past Wednesday, the new President of the IDCCA. I have been serving as Vice President of the IDCCA since 2008 and I have worked closely with Kristina over the last few years.
Of course, change can be scary, but I am so honored, grateful, and excited for the opportunity to lead IDCCA. The next few months will be busy for us! We have primary elections coming up, our Text to Recruit program has now transitioned to a mentorship and training program, and we have started planning for our annual County Chairs’ Brunch. We also have our Virtual Trivia Night coming up in a few weeks!
Needless to say, we have a TON going on in the next few weeks and months – and I am so excited to hit the ground running and see how much we can accomplish together.
