While this is a challenging time in our
nation’s history. We will get through this. Montanans are
strong.
I’m working hard in Congress to protect
the health and finances of Montanans and to provide relief for workers
and small businesses during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Today,
I voted for a Coronavirus Relief bill
which waives the costs of Coronavirus testing,
includes paid sick and family leave, and
provides emergency nutritional assistance for seniors, women, children
and low income families. This bill is Phase Two of
Congress’ response to the Coronavirus outbreak.
I’m now
working on Phase Three which will be a major economic recovery
package to provide relief for our workers and
small businesses.

Remember the best things
we can be doing right now is to take steps to prevent
illness—this includes staying home when you’re sick, washing your hands
with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoiding close contact with
people who are sick, and putting distance between yourself and other
people, something you’ve probably seen called “social
distancing”.
Best Wishes,
