Check out resources available during the quarantine
Hi Friend,
Firstly, we hope you, your family, and loved ones are safe and healthy.
These are trying times but our community is coming together to help us
stay safe, share resources and support each other as much as we can.
What can you do to protect yourself during the COVID19 pandemic?
* Wash your hands with soap and water regularly -- wash for at least 20
seconds and dry completely
* Practice social distancing (stay at home as much as possible and keep
6 feet of distance between people that aren’t immediate family
members) -- this is especially important to practice with folks who
are sick and the elderly
* Clean and disinfect surfaces frequently, like doorknobs, tabletops,
food prep areas and especially your cell phones and computers

Response.
Here are more important resources we want to make sure you have as you
navigate this moment in time.
1. [ [link removed] ]We've put together a handy resource guide to help you find food,
unemployment insurance, & other assistance during the quarantine.
We'll continue updating it, but feel free to share it with anyone you
know who could use a helping hand right now.
2. If you or someone you know, needs to file an unemployment claim,
[ [link removed] ]you can do so online at this link. You can find [ [link removed] ]videos on the
filing process here, in English and Spanish. These videos walk you
through each step of the process and website. If extra help is needed
in this process, you [ [link removed] ]can contact Nevada Unemployment Insurance
here.
3. If you have ten minutes to spare, [ [link removed] ]fill out the 2020 Census while
you are practicing social distancing! This pandemic proves that we
need to make sure our communities are counted so that we have the
infrastructure we need in our country. You should’ve received an
envelope in the mail from the Census Bureau with a code to enter at
the above website to begin filling out your Census.
We hope this is helpful and if you ever have any questions or needs, we’re
here to help. Remember, stay home for Nevada and [ [link removed] ]check out the state’s
health response site to get more updates on COVID19.
Stay healthy out there,
