You don't hear from me often, but this was so important that I wanted to reach out directly.

If we're going to defeat Mitch McConnell this November (which we absolutely can), it's going to take a grassroots movement of an unprecedented size and scale. And together, that's exactly what we've been building.

Unfortunately, in order to assist in getting the coronavirus pandemic under control, this week Ditch Mitch and Amy McGrath had to cancel our in-person campaign events & fundraisers and stop going door-to-door to talk with voters about why it's time to send McConnell packing.

Let me be perfectly clear: Nothing is more important than public health and leading by example right now. But without organizers and volunteers going door-to-door, without being able to have those vital, meaningful conversations, we're facing a serious setback in our efforts to Ditch Mitch.

The wind has been at our backs for the past few months. We've been rising in the polls; we've been out-raising and out-spending McConnell; and we've been gaining momentum. But as much as I hate to admit it, this could be the moment where that all stops.

That's where you, me, and our team come into play: We've developed a plan to launch more TV, radio, and digital ads to try to make up for what we're not able to do in-person right now, but it's going to mean increasing our budget.

We've set a goal of immediately raising another $200,000 that we must hit if we're going to help Amy McGrath defeat Mitch McConnell this November, but right now we're still falling short.

I wouldn't be personally reaching out if it weren't critically important: Please, can we count on you to chip in $5 or more right now - whatever you can afford during these uncertain times - so we can hit our emergency $200,000 goal and ensure that Amy McGrath defeats Mitch McConnell once and for all this November?
