Dear Friend,
Last week, I shared an urgent fundraising appeal. We need hundreds of thousands of dollars to stay focused on critical ballot access, signatures, ads and more to sustain our campaign this month.
While the initial response to our appeal was strong, it has waned. We cannot stop. We need to keep going.

The way the system is designed, one can only be considered a legitimate candidate if you are on a majority of state ballots. We're already on 29 and we are getting on more — states not only critical for a win, but also very expensive. It is obscene the way the system works.
This is much bigger than any one race or any one candidate. The extreme expense of campaigning is a threat to our democracy.
The system is designed to be this expensive. It's designed to cost millions of dollars. Why? Because they don't want anyone who doesn’t either have that kind of money, or access to that kind of money, to get anywhere near the pinnacles of power.
Because of this, I am even more adamant about taking a stand. I hope you will join me.
To stay in the race, to fight for an Economic Bill of Rights that will improve the lives of millions of Americans, we need to raise more than $300,000 now.

What we are standing for in this campaign is so important. No one else is standing for what we're standing for. No one else is addressing the human despair that is a direct product of our current economic system. No one else is challenging the war machine or Big Oil. No one else is calling for a Climate Emergency. No one else is putting children first.
I see millions of people struggling for healthcare, having to work more than one job. I see the housing crisis. I see the need for fundamental economic reform. The current system is a government “of the corporations by the corporations and for the corporations.” We used to have a thriving middle class in this country, but not anymore. And we must rebuild it.
We can begin a new chapter of American history. We must return to a country “of the people by the people and for the people.” That's what this campaign stands for. In order for this to happen, we need your support — and we need it now. [[link removed]]
