Criminally indicted John Eastman and the Colorado Republican Party asked a federal court to ban unaffiliated voters from the state's 2024 GOP primary. The state holds open primaries and 47% of Colorado voters are not registered with a party.

A group of South Carolina voters filed a lawsuit challenging a state law that permits voters to cast an absentee ballot without a qualifying excuse only if they are aged 65 and over. The plaintiffs claim that the law violates the 26th Amendment.

Idaho officially repealed student IDs as acceptable forms of voter ID as a new youth voter suppression law went into effect this week. There are two ongoing lawsuits challenging this statute.

- Tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. EST, there will be a remedial hearing in the lawsuit over Michigan’s legislative maps. Last week, a three-judge panel struck down the state’s legislative maps for being unconstitutional racial gerrymanders and ordered them to be redrawn.
