Team, not only did last year’s final USPS Board of Governors meeting reveal disastrous results for the USPS, but DeJoy also revealed that the USPS won’t even reach breakeven results in 2024.
We’re not surprised: under DeJoy, the USPS has suffered slowed mail delivery, closed hundreds of postal offices, cut more than 50,000 positions, raised the rate for postage stamps, not once, but FIVE times, AND put a DISASTROUS 10-year plan in place that has already cut services, reduced office hours, and laid off even more workers.
We need to let the USPS Board of Governors know that we won’t stand by while Louis DeJoy and his policies destroy this vital American institution.
