These are uncertain times, friend. We’re facing the daunting public health emergency of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and it’s understandable that many people are frightened by the threat it poses and frustrated by the response from our government. But we’re not alone. It’s more critical than ever to support one another as the situation continues to evolve.
Below are some important guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that we should all be following. One of the biggest things we can do to reduce the spread of the coronavirus is social distancing. That means avoiding groups of people so that COVID-19 doesn’t spread as quickly through our communities. Instead, you should check in on friends and family with video or phone calls — seeing a friendly face can help a lot in these trying times.
