Almost three years ago, thousands of people violently stormed the Capitol building in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election results. This illegal and insurrectionist act left our democracy on the brink, nine people dead, hundreds injured, and hundreds charged with seditious conspiracy and disorderly conduct.
