We’re throwing an online festival to support artists and unite people while we stay apart to stay safe.
Hi John
This has been a hard couple weeks. I hope you are doing okay and are able to take care of yourself and your loved ones.
We wanted to organize a Fight for the Future way to bring people together even when we’re physically apart, through the power of the internet.
Stay at Home Fest is a central hub to find all the fantastic decentralized events that are happening online, and to connect with each other through music and performance.
As artists ourselves, we know that while we are all staying at home to slow down the spread of this virus and to save lives, artists are losing gigs and income that they depend on. We hope this can be a resource for people to connect and also a way to support artists who aren’t able to go out and perform right now.
And in addition to sharing info about various events, we’re planning our own very special "Main Stage" livestream event with some awesome performers, coming in April (stay tuned for more details).
Finding new ways to connect will be critical to weathering the storm. We hope Stay at Home Fest will bring some happiness to you during this challenging time.
Stay safe and stay home,
Caitlin and the Fight for the Future Team
P.S. Interested in sponsoring Stay at Home Fest? Sponsors can help maintain the site as a resource for artists organizing their own events, and to cover the costs of producing the “Main Stage" event. This is a great way for brands to support artists and reach an audience during these tough times. Learn more by sending us an email.
P.P.S. We're running this festival to encourage voluntary social distancing, which is critical to stopping the spread of this virus. But as an organization that fights for civil liberties, we're also concerned about how the government might exploit this crisis to take away our civil rights. Sign this petition to tell our leaders to protect our basic rights even in this time of crisis.
Fight for the Future works to protect your rights in the digital age.
