New solicitations
DES starts solicitation to replace flooring, installation contract
DES is starting solicitation 29223 for Flooring and Installation Services to succeed statewide contract 01820, which expires Sept. 9, 2024.
This solicitation is for the purchase of flooring and/or installation services for carpet, carpet tile, luxury vinyl plank/tile, and rubber flooring. The contract also allows for minor site repairs or routine installation, including minor crack or joint repair, surface preparation, and routine leveling.

Contract changes
Gases contract expiring; purchasing gap expected
Contract 04015 for medical, specialty, and industrial gases will expire Jan. 31, 2024. We expect a gap in contract coverage and encourage purchasers to place orders before the expiration date.
We are working on replacement contract 23823 and expect to award the new contract April 2024.

Statewide solicitation canceled for electrical supplies contract; moving forward with regional award winners
We have canceled statewide awards for Electrical Supplies Competitive Solicitation #11121-2 but will proceed with regional awards. We plan to issue contracts within the next 2-3 weeks.
A new competitive solicitation for electrical supplies, with minimal changes, will be reposted in WEBS very soon. In the meantime, purchasers should continue to utilize contract 01018
