With the impending release of NASN’s Seizure and Epilepsy Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) and CPG Implementation Toolkit, explore NASN’s Epilepsy Practice Page and discover the wealth of highlighted no-cost NCPD available to school nurses in the NASN Learning Center focused on the nursing care of students with epilepsy.

The Leveling the Playing Field Video introduces an overarching framework to achieve disaster readiness across disaster disciplines for infants, children, and youth. The content promotes equity and inclusiveness while aligning with the FEMA national disaster framework.

The CDC recently released the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), Unintentional Firearm Injury Deaths Among Children and Adolescents Aged 0–17 Years — National Violent Death Reporting System, United States, 2003–2021, highlighting the critical role of policymakers, health care professionals and others in partnering with parents, caregivers, and firearm owners to promote secure firearm storage.
