John, I’m disheartened by the chaos and self-interest that has gripped the House of Representatives. This Congress is on track to be one of the most unproductive in modern history.

The actions of the Republican majority do not reflect the values we strive to uphold as Americans. Under their leadership, petty infighting is more important than serving the American people.

Turning a blind eye to the epidemic of gun violence; Threatening to enact a national abortion ban; Denying healthcare access to those most in need; Grinding our government to halt: This is not leadership. It is playing games with the lives of millions of Americans. Texans deserve better. Our nation deserves better.

This election, we must retake the House majority and get our country back on track. We must defend every Democratic seat, including right here in TX-32.

I’m running for Congress because our community deserves a representative with integrity, empathy, and a commitment to service. I am ready to go to Washington and fight for the people – fight to empower Texans to thrive.
